Day thirty-nine - Bogalusa to Wiggins

As you all probably have figured out, I'm a little behind in my updates. I'm going to try to catch up today because the longer it takes me to do it, the more I forget. I do remember that on this day of the ride, we were just trying to plug through it. We are passing from Louisianna into Mississippi. (Another margarita night). The highlight of today was a stop for ice cream at a little shop in Poplarville. Everything is still green and pretty. We are still in the hill country of Mississippi which means we climbed a total of 1847 feet today. Nothing compared to the hill country of Texas. It actually added a little something to the ride. The temperature seems to be warming a bit each day. We all have the strangest looking tan lines. I have included pictures of some of the animals we came across. The zebras are brown and white? The other animals have black and white stripes across their ankles and their ears? We weren't sure what they were.

36 days down and 14 days to go.
